Firstly I bet you’re wondering why anistream closed. Sadly this was due to circumstances beyond my control.
Scouser (me) was contacted by a company on behalf of a number of license holders for various anime series. Sadly the names of the series or companies cannot be disclosed as demanded by said companies. They informed us that we were infact breaking the law by copyright infringement. Sadly even after counter claims and days of arguements, Anistream and Scouser were threatened with court action.
Regardless of right or wrong, a single person working a minimum wage job cannot afford to be taken to court against big media giants. The cost of lawyers alone is extortionate. So sadly my baby for 3 years was forever closed.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your loyalty over the years and apolagise for the news blackout regarding this occasion. Untill such a time as a loophole is found or I win the lottery, I’d advise using Animedreaming.com for your weekly anime needs…or buy it? Rightstuf.com or any series official website.

It ws brought down to new extensions to the law that didn’t exist when Anistream was first made.

hey scouse, i know you probably dont remember me but i’ve been using anistream sense it started. back when it was still anime4u.net. i even found a great girlfriend while chatting one day. i havent had a computer for a while due to circumstances beyond my control, so im just now hearing about this. that sucks man. i really hope you do win the lottery or something along those lines. and if you do, let me know. just wish i could help. but im just as broke as i’ve always been. sorry. send me a message if you start another site or anything.

Ay wut was dat one episode where they were playing hide n’ seek in this demon infested area where one of the boys sister was a demon in the middle of the area and I think there were like 6 or 8 demons.
